David J Otto, LMT NCTMB, attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English – Secondary Education in 1991. In 2001, he attended and was certified as a Professional Massage Therapist at the Utah College of Massage Therapy (UCMT), Nevada Campus. In the 11 years since: David worked as a licensed massage therapist with the Ritz-Carlton for 9 years in Henderson, NV;  in 2003, he opened and continues his massage practice, Hands In Motion, in Henderson and Clark County business jurisdictions and instructed massage therapy students at UCMT, Nevada campus, regarding their professional development and other massage modalities for 3 years; David, in 2004, attended the Chiangmai, Thailand, TMC School for a 90-hour Traditional Thai Massage Thai government & NCBTMB certification; David began working with Drift Spa at Palms Place, in Las Vegas, NV, in 2008, as a massage therapist.

He also co-founded, -developed, and -operated the Bodywork Concierge in 2008 for 2 years, a marketing/networking business in Henderson, NV, for bodyworkers and bodywork clients; and, in 2009, co-founded the Nevada Nonprofit Organization MWR Project Inc, to facilitate a large-scale, simultaneous massage therapy session to benefit a local healthcare-/medical-condition-related 501(c) Charity and the Massage Therapy Foundation in a one-day, occasional Expo, Attempt at the Guinness World Record®, and Public & Professional education-based course offering. He has been serving the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) Nevada Chapter for 6 years as the Communications Committee Chair (past), Newsletter Editor (past), AMTA-NV.org Webmaster (current), and 1st Vice-President (current). David also co-organizes the Las Vegas Massage Therapy Meetup networking group.
