01 Before Booking... (5)

Hands In Motion’s Business Hours:
Monday – Saturday, 10am – 7pm

To get a live, current version of Available Appointments, please visit his homepage at HandsInMotion.info, where – when you start the [no-obligation] appointment-setting interview – you’ll find David’s current Calendar of Availability.

David is currently booking at least two weeks out, so he appreciates your patience while you book and anticipate your massage therapy Session with HIM.

  • Same-day Appointment requests are not accepted.
  • Massagebook closes David’s availability on a rolling 24-hour period prior to his next-available appointment.

for Homes: a 10′ x 10′ space is optimal for table set up and workspace for HIM; narrower dimensions are workable, too – just reach out to HIM with your specific question.

It costs you both time and money to get a massage…wherever and with whomever you choose. With HIM:

  • Time: please expect HIM to arrive At the time of your Appointment – David needs about 15 minutes to set up the table and interview you prior to the Session-start, and he’ll need about 15 minutes after your Session to either change the linens for the next client [at your home/office Location] or break down the table & pack up for departure.
    • for chair/seated massage Sessions, timing is slightly different – between clients and within each 2-hour period, there is typically 2 minutes of turn-time.
  • Pricing: Varies – please see this website’s Pricing & Payment page for more details and special offers.

In a nutshell: Yes!

Hands In Motion offers two types of reduced-pricing for Services:

  • Loyalty-based: as David is committed to your getting regular massage, HIM reflects that in Series-pricing in my Massagebook Menu of Services. Essentially: when you prepay in bulk (eg. a Series of 5, 1-hour Sessions), you pay $20 less per Session; so, your per-Session cost is $70, not the single-Session’s $90. There are more Series-types and is more information on how to find those HERE.
  • Equipment-based: when you’ve already got the massage therapy table and linens (sheets) for use during your appointed Session with HIM, you receive $10 off each Session you buy as a single-Session or in a Series. It’s a great time-saver for David to not need to bring a massage table into your home and not need to wash linens post-Session…and, he appreciates it with reduced-pricing for you!

these two types of discounts may be used simultaneously!

All specified anatomical areas will be covered at all times, per state law NAC.640C.340 and local, jurisdictional laws in which I practice (Clark County § 7.08.045.g and Cities of Las Vegas LVMC 6.52.090.e & Henderson HMC 4.84.150.d).
I uncover areas -individually- on which I am working and then re-drape them when moving on to the next area – for example:

first leg (anterior) → second leg (anterior) → [abdomen, upon request] → first arm (anterior) → second arm (anterior) → neck/head

02 After Booking... (2)

I’m glad you asked!
There are a few things I recommend and ask you to do, to optimize your massage:

  1. Please complete your Client Intake Form online – David will email you this in conjunction with your Appointment Confirmation-email. (a paper-version is available, on-site)
  2. If there are special instructions (ie. gate code, et al) or requests (special bolstering needs, et al) or any other confirmations you’d like to communicate to David that you didn’t indicate while setting your appointment and prior to your appointment, please contact HIM as soon as possible: via voice/text @ (702) 339-4325 or via email.
  3. Please drink plenty of water – your soft tissues will thank you that they are in the best condition (hydrated) for receiving the benefits of your massage.
  4. Create a ~10′ x 10′ space in which the table is to be set up and David can work.
  5. Prepare the sounds in your environment – let others know that share your space that you will be receiving a massage session and need quiet time. Any pet interactions and/or outdoor noises may be minimized for a more-mindful experience that massage affords you during this time. Also, if you have music you like to relax with or favorite songs you’d like to hear during your massage, please have them playing in the space you create for your massage. Alternatively, David is happy to bring a streaming selection of relaxing, calming music…

No worries!
I am proficient in working with body hair during your massage: head, back, arms…and legs.

If you are having kinesiology taping applied during your Session, the area where the tape will be applied is best shaved prior to your Session.
